Baytowne Beer Fest Raises More Than $5,000 for Local Charities
The 10th Annual Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival announced today the organization donated $5,500 to three deserving local charities. The proceeds are from the two-day event, held this past fall at The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
The Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center received a $3,000 donation, Sandestin Foundation for Kids received a $1,500 check, and the Fisher House of the Emerald Coast was presented with a $1,000 check.
The two day festival saw almost 2,500 festival goers, welcomed 61 tents of local and regional beers, and provided live music by The Forrest Williams Band, The Modern Eldorados and The Moon Lagoons.
The 11th Annual Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival is set for October 12, & 13, 2018. Chief sponsors of the Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival include Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, Visit South Walton, Vie Magazine, SoWal.com, Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport, Good Grit, Waste Management Services, Sunbelt Rentals, 850 Magazine and Emerald Coast Magazine.
